I'm sure by this point you've seen Tiger King, and if not, you've heard about it (and if not, good on you for focusing your efforts on more productive things during social distancing). For those of us who have seen it (basically everyone and their mother, mine included), we watched the tale of Mr. Exotic and his *pals* 'Doc' and Jeff completely and disgustingly mistreat animals -- and women (people for that matter). I am all for entertainment and then discussing said entertainment on all the social platforms, however, for every 20 tweets/posts/TikToks making fun of Tiger King, I might see one that talks about how f*cked up everything is in this documentary and what we can do to stop it. ...
Happy Earth Week! This feels like our Christmas, we have Earth Day this week and an even bigger opportunity to spread the message of sustainability and going green ♻️♻️♻️ We were planning a big 'ole event, but due to the pandemic crisis, are opting to wait until later for that. HOWEVER, we are super excited to celebrate this week with a few of our friends -- virtually -- until we can celebrate IRL! To kick off the celebration, we're teaming up with Ciara & Kari from Inner Circle Co., Jamie from THE COLLECTIVE and our favorite thrift enthusiast, Sarah E to re-launch the #Thrify50 pledge (*follow them STAT if you're not already)!!!! We also have some oh so fab collabs and events happening...
While we all take some time to turn inward, social distance, and also take a good hard look at who is being most greatly impacted by the pandemic (and start thinking what we need to do to change it!), I thought it would be the perfect time to flashback on a few trips -- since there won't be any happening, anytime soon.
Without further adieu, I give you Tulum. The bachelorette party dreams are made of, for one of my besties, Kacey. We celebrated in green (for St. Patrick's Day), did a green/sustainable swim photoshoot, and lived the green life in our 'eco-chic' accommodations.

Fur is back! *VINTAGE* Fur that is, and re-upping a few key points on fur before we get into a few of my faves for the flurry months that make vintage fur so fab: I’m vegan *about 90-92% of the time* (full-time vegetarian though!), and it all began because of animal rights and cruelty. In no way, shape or form do I support purchasing new fur and just want to get that out there. There are a lot of options when it comes to purchasing fur, and also conflicting opinions when it comes to what is most ethical and sustainable. I found a great article from Refinery 29 “Faux Fur: Good For Ethics, Bad For The Planet?” if you want to read...
